Team Goals/Objectives: This will be the fourth year that the CyberRays play in Division 3.
In the 2008 season, the CyberRays earned first place in League play and made it to three
championship games out of the six tournaments in which we played.  We are looking for
disciplined players who strive to excel in their individual skills and team play.  We create a
fun learning environment using competition to bring out the best in the players.  Success will
be measured by continuous effort, commitment, individual improvement and team
accomplishments.  Success will not be measured by the win-loss record.  We will refine
fundamentals, tactics, the mental facet of the game, and respect for the game.

Required Commitment:   Players: Attendance at all practices is mandatory.  Players must
have a desire to play competitive soccer.
Parents: Active participation by all parents in
Team Fundraisers, Sponsorship Drive, Team Volunteer Positions, Field and Referee
assignments for Tournaments and League Games, Practices, Camps, etc.
Everyone MUST
participate!!!

Practice Schedule:  Three times a week before the start of the season.  Two times a
week after the season starts.  2 hours each practice.  Practices start in June.
Official season: June ~ January

Regular Season:  10-game season, starting September 12, 2009.  All games are played on
Saturdays -- half the League games are played at home (Octo); the other half are away
(typically no more than an hour or so drive towards the Sacramento Area).  The season ends
with Association Cup Tournament in January 2010.

Tournaments:  6 Tournaments, tentatively scheduled one each month -- 2 in August
(Fairfield and Pleasanton), 1 in September (Sebastopol), and 1 in October (Redding), District
Cup in December and Association Cup in January 2010.  Typically there are 2 games played on
Saturday and 1 or 2 on Sunday.   There are no League games on tournament weekends.  The
Redding tournament will be an overnighter.
